About the Crew

Venturing Crew 405 is based in Georgetown, Texas.  We are dedicated to providing fun and exciting growth opportunities for young adults while serving the community. Our Crew is led by the youth members, allowing each member to participate in and help plan activities that fit their individual interests. 

Is Venturing for You?

YES!   You are a male or female between the ages of 14 (OR 13 years of age and have completed the eighth grade) and 20.
YES!   You like the outdoors.
YES!   You want to learn more about being in the wilderness, and how to help preserve it for future years.
YES!   You like or are interested in camping (no experience necessary).
YES!   You want to contribute to your community through service projects.
YES!   You have an open mind to try high-adventure experiences.
YES!   You want to be around other teens who share these interests.

Get to know us! We invite you to attend one of our scheduled meetings, or sometimes there is the opportunity to attend one of our planned events as a guest. This is a great no-obligation way to visit with us to find out if our Crew is a good match for you. Contact us to talk more and get a schedule of upcoming meetings and events.

Our Crew holds regular meetings every other Monday, 7:00-8:30pm in the Georgetown area; and plans at least one campout or event per month.
